Target Audience: General Environmental STudies
Curriculum Goals: increase student awareness of pesticides/herbicides and its effects on food and human health. Introduce students to the differences between organic foods, processed foods, all natural foods, etc. Apply knowledge to make informed food choices by analyzing food labels. Expose students to their impact environmentally based on their food choices.Media Literacy Goals:

Proposed Activities: Podcasts, debates, article analysis, video critique, create magazine advertisement, mini garden evaluations, farmer interviews, skype organic farmers.
